The Sindh government has announced a significant increase in the minimum wage for workers, setting it at Rs. 40,000 per month. This decision aims to improve the financial well-being of laborers across the province.
Additionally, the government has fixed the minimum wage for skilled workers at Rs. 48,910 per month, while highly skilled workers will earn Rs. 50,868 per month. In a progressive move, the government has also mandated that women workers receive wages equal to their male counterparts, ensuring gender parity in compensation.
This initiative reflects the Sindh government’s commitment to supporting workers and promoting fair labor practices across the province.
